Privacy by design. No cookies, no LocalStorage, no third-party scripts, no analytics, no ad networks. Tool inputs never leave the server and are not logged.
Open in plain HTML. Every tool is single-file or near single-file. Right click, view source, the code is readable. Nothing hidden behind build pipelines.
Security is not optional. Strict Content-Security-Policy, HSTS, anti-CSRF, anti-SSRF, hCaptcha against abuse. No external fonts or CDNs (GDPR-friendly).
Stays free. We don't use "freemium" limits, no signup gate, no paywalls. The tools are our calling card as a hosting provider.
Mobile-ready. Every tool works just as well on a phone as on the desktop.

Are KernelHost Tools really free?
Yes. All tools are completely free, with no signup, no registration and no limits. We run them as a service for the sysadmin community and as a calling card for our hosting services.
Are my inputs stored or shared?
No. We don't store tool inputs, we don't run tracking, and we don't run analytics. Tools with active server-side functions (ping, port check, DNS lookup) execute the request and forget it immediately. Pure browser tools like the password generator never send anything to our server at all.
Who are the tools for?
Sysadmins, network engineers, DevOps teams, developers, server hosters and anyone who regularly handles network and server tasks. The tools are built so that beginners can use them without prior knowledge too.
Where does the infrastructure run?
Most tools run in a Maincubes data center in Frankfurt am Main (FRA01). Looking Glass and latency checks benefit from this central European location with first-class connectivity.
Can I embed or link to the tools on my own website?
Direct links to individual tool URLs are explicitly welcome. Embedding via iframe is blocked for security reasons (X-Frame-Options: DENY). If you'd like to link to a tool from your own website, go ahead, a backlink helps us bring these free utilities to more people.
Is there an API?
Right now the tools are designed for interactive browser use. An official API is on the roadmap. If you have a need for high-frequency queries, get in touch at info@kernelhost.com.

This tool collection is run by KernelHost GmbH, an independent hosting provider headquartered in Vienna (Austria) with a data center in Frankfurt am Main (Maincubes FRA01). We run dedicated servers, vServers, game servers and web hosting for private customers, businesses and resellers. The tools here are not a marketing trap; they're real utilities we use ourselves every day and share with the world.
